OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z vs BoAt Airdopes 441

It’s time to compare BoAt Airdopes 441, another true wireless (TWS) earbuds with OnePlus Bullets Z. Last time I compared OnePlus BUds Z with OnePlus Bullets Z.

The features of Aidropes 441 in such a competitive price range are really eye-catching. On the other hand, the OnePlus Bullets Z stands out for its own amazing features as neckband earphones.

This OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z vs BoAt Airdopes 441 ultimate comparison article will go deep into each earphone and include all the things you need to choose the right one for you.

So, let’s dive in.

Design & Build Quality

OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z Bass Edition comes in 3┬ácolours – Bold Black, Bass Blue & Reverb Red, and BoAt Airdopes 441 has a nice collection of 15 colours.

Both are different kinds of earphones with different wearing styles but I’ll try to share my opinion about each individually.

In terms of material, neither of them made any compromise. Bullets Z is made of high-quality plastic with a metallic neckband with a silicone rubber coating on top.

The earbuds have a glossy metallic finish. Overall it looks minimal, compact, premium, and elegant.

On the other hand, Airdopes 441 is also made of top-rated plastic with a smooth matte finish that makes it look durable.

When it comes to comfort, true wireless earbuds tend to be more comfortable as they are a lot lighter and Airdopes 441 is not an exception as well.

It’s more comfortable when not used with the wings, it can hurt. But make sure to use the wings when in heavy motion like running or workout.

While Bullets Z is a lot lightweight as well compared to most of the neckband earphones in the market.

The earbuds design of the OnePlus Buds Z looks like it is OnePlus Bullets Z Bass Edition but without the cables and neckband.

To, conclude, Airdopes 441 looks simple yet elegant and Bullets Z is more focused on looks. Both are totally comfortable for long sessions. Now it depends whether you are okay with wires or want to get rid of them.

Bass & Sound Quality

Both have some really great sound quality. Not really sure about the impedance due to a lack of information from the brands.

But the sound quality is ideal based on the price. The Bullets Z takes the lead when it comes to medium and low tempo in songs. I’ll explain why just a bit later.

OnePlus Bullets Z Bass Editon and BoAt Airdopes 441 have 9.2 mm and 6 mm bass drivers respectively.

You might now say that because Bullets Z has 9.2 mm drivers it clearly has better bass quality but in reality that’s not the case.

Despite having 6 mm drivers, the bass is too punchy and high. I’ll say it might even beat any BoAt Bassheads or Rockerz series.

This is the reason, Airdopes 441 loses to Bullets Z in terms of sound quality. Most of the BoAt earphones tend to have artificially boosted bass that often overpowers the sound. What I don’t like about BoAt earphones.

The same happened here. Maybe it’s even worse. The bass is too much that when it comes to lows, I was unable to hear any lyrics clearly.

Having thumping or punching bass is good but it’s just too much. It’s still good when it comes to high notes but not really good with medium and low parts.

In my opinion even avid bass loves will get tired or annoyed from this much bass. Using it for too long might cause ear fatigue.

OnePlus Bullets Z on the other hand has a balanced amount of bass and a natural one. It won;y just force powerful bass all over the track. It provides bass when actually needed.

To conclude, OnePlus Bullets Z is a lot better in terms of bass and sound clarity. From acoustic to rock anything is suitable with Bullets Z.

Lastly, even if you are planning for Airdopes 441 then you might have to use an equalizer in order to cut some unwanted bass to enjoy songs properly.

Battery Life & Charging Time

Both got some impressive battery life. OnePlus Bullets Z and Buds Z got 17 hours and 30 hours (5 hours in the earbuds, 25 hours in the charging case) of full battery life respectively.

So, Bullets Z can last up to up to 17 hours in one go while Airdopes 441 only 5 hours per charge.

OnePlus Bullets Z takes around 50-55 minutes to get fully charged while BoAt Airdopes 441 takes around 1.5 hours to fully charge.

Unfortunately, Airdopes 441 doesn’t have fast charging. While you get up to 10 hours of backup from 10 minutes charge on Bullets Z. Thanks to their warp charge technology.

As you can see, OnePlus Bullets Z is beating Airdopes 441 in charging time, total backup, fast charging. Thankfully, both utilise USB-C cables for charging.

Remote & Functions

A multi-function panel can be found at the left end of the neckband of OnePlus Bullets Z with all the necessary buttons like volume control, voice assistant, taking/ending calls, etc.

Airdopes 441 has a touch panel to pause/play each earbud along with features like activating voice assistant, taking/ending calls. The touch controls can respond late sometimes.

Bluetooth Version: Both editions have Bluetooth 5.0 with a 10 m range.

Water-Resistance: Both Bullets Z has IP55 dust & water resistance. Airdopes 441 IPX7 rated. It can survive in 1-meter water for 30 minutes. Earbuds can fall accidentally. So, IPX7 is the perfect feature to have.

Call/Mic Quality: The mic quality of Bullets Z is average but good for normal calls. The mic of Airdopes 441 has a good mic but is almost the same as Bullets Z.

Noise Cancellation: OnePlus Bullets Z got Passive noise cancellation. Good enough to cancel normal natural and home noises. Airdopes 441 has fine passive noise cancellation as well. However, there’s no official mention.

Accessories: USB-C cable for charging, earbuds of different sizes, charging case, and all the required papers like the manual, warranty card, etc are included.

4 Reasons To Choose BoAt Airdopes 441

No wires: Of course, who likes to play wires these days when everything is becoming wireless.

Lighter: Due to not having many things like neckband earphones it is a lot lighter and feels more comfortable in the ear.

Bass: The bass is surely higher but it can often overpower vocals mainly during lows and mediums. Too much bass can cause ear fatigue for some as well.

IPX7 water-resistant: Not a huge trait but for earbuds the higher the IP rating is the better I think.

Final Words

I surely love true wireless earbuds when if I have to choose one between Bullets Z and Airdopes 441, I will go with Bullets Z.

Maybe I have to bear some wires but it provides better sound quality with natural bass which doesn’t artificially boost the bass on the overall song.

On top of that, it has fast charging and a much longer battery backup. It can enjoy music the whole day without even thinking about charging.
